Overview:
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital contributor to ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment across our manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance as required and document preventive maintenance in database.
- Perform minor and assist in major equipment repairs as needed.
- Evaluate repairs for future preventive measures.
- Responsible for housekeeping in the Maintenance Room.
- Perform light building maintenance as required.
- Support GGI’s quality management system.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Ability to follow work instructions.
- Ability to maintain a preventive maintenance schedule.
- Ability and willingness to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Basic knowledge of a computer, in particular with Microsoft Windows applications.
- Skilled in the operation of a forklift.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis in performing maintenance duties.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods, bend, and climb ladders in conducting maintenance on machines.
- Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies as required which may require after hours, holidays, or weekend response.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
