The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for food and beverage, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests while ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while offering recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the dining area.
- Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner, checking back frequently to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments using point-of-sale systems accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
- Uphold all restaurant policies regarding food safety and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Availability for afternoons, nights, week days and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
