Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, fostering positive change and emotional well-being. You will utilize evidence-based practices, including behavioral therapy, family therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to support clients through various challenges. Requirements:
- Provide In-person services 3 days a week with 6 sessions each day. (evenings and weekends are required for some shifts.
- Hold an ACTIVE associate number and be working towards licensure. This position is not for individuals who have finished their hours.
- Be in good standing with the BBS
- Be able to attend supervision on mondays at 10am and thursdays at 1pm
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution focused therapy, Person centered therapy, Etc
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress, maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with clinical ethical guidelines.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote counseling services while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
- Engage in ongoing clinical research and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in mental health counseling and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques including motivational interviewing, behavioral health interventions, and family therapy.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with a wide variety of mental health challenges
- Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies, crisis management, and trauma-informed care approaches.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards for accurate recordkeeping.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including families and couples.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using diagnostic tools such as ICD coding systems while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines.
- Experience working within healthcare diagnosis frameworks and applying evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy in clinical settings.
Pay:
You will be paid $20.00 per hour for non clinical work and $40.00 per session completed.
