QUALITY CONTROL/DISPATCH SPECIALIST
Septon Development – Service Department (Las Vegas)
Compensation: $40,000-$45,000 Year
Schedule- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
1st Week of Training will take place in Scottsdale AZ
The Quality Control Specialist (QCS) ensures that every work order completed by Septon technicians meets the company’s standards for accuracy, documentation, and professionalism. This role acts as the final checkpoint before manager approval, billing, and customer submission. The QCS supports technicians, dispatch, and service managers by maintaining clean workflows, assisting with ordering parts, tracking ETAs, and driving continuous improvement across the service team.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail‑obsessed, process‑driven, and passionate about elevating service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Schedule and dispatch technicians for service calls and maintenance work
- Communicate with technicians, customers, and vendors to keep jobs on track
- Review all Tech Complete work orders for accuracy and completeness
- Verify completion notes, receipts, and photos are included and meet Septon standards
- Prepare work orders for Manager Approval
- Order parts on approved work orders
- Create and maintain a parts tracker with updated ETA information
- Send daily timecard report to the Service Manager
Secondary Duties:
- Report quality issues or technician trends in a daily update
- Participate in the daily morning service meeting
- Participate in the daily 3‑day look‑ahead meeting
- Other duties as determined and needed
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Good Knowledge of the Construction Trades
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication
- Ability to identify inconsistencies quickly
- Familiarity with Service Fusion
- Vendor communication and parts ordering experience
- Organized, calm, and methodical
- Comfortable providing constructive feedback
- Strong understanding of technician workflows and field operations
Work Environment:
· Office‑based with daily interaction with technicians, dispatch, and service managers
· Fast‑paced, detail‑oriented, and highly collaborative
