About Us
FineOryx Art Studio is a creative art studio in McKinney, Texas offering sketching, painting, art classes, camps, workshops, and creative experiences for children and adults.
We are looking for a creative and dependable Social Media & Content Creator who can help showcase the personality of our studio, our students’ artwork, classes, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
We are not looking for someone to simply post photos. We want someone who can bring creative ideas to the table, create engaging short-form content, and help grow FineOryx’s online presence through authentic and visually appealing storytelling.
What You'll Do
- Create photo and video content inside the art studio
- Film and edit Instagram Reels, TikToks, Facebook videos, and other short-form content
- Photograph artwork, classes, students, instructors, camps, workshops, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Develop creative content ideas that fit the FineOryx brand
- Help plan and maintain a monthly social media content calendar
- Write engaging captions and prepare posts for social media
- Keep up with current trends and adapt them creatively for an art studio
- Create graphics, flyers, promotional posts, and story content using Canva or similar platforms
- Work with the studio owner on promotions, seasonal campaigns, camps, events, and class enrollment
- Help promote special events and offers through social media
- Monitor content performance and suggest ways to improve engagement and reach
- Occasionally capture content during studio events, workshops, or camps
Requirements
- Experience creating social media content, either professionally or through a strong personal portfolio
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form videos
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social media trends
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing/design software
- Strong creative and visual sense
- Good written communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Comfortable interacting with students, parents, and instructors while capturing content

Bonus Qualifications
- Experience managing social media for a small business
- Graphic design experience
- Experience with Meta/Facebook and Instagram advertising
- Photography or professional camera experience
- Experience creating content for art, education, children’s programs, or other creative businesses
- Experience growing an Instagram or TikTok account
