We are looking to employ a hard-working Class A CDL for LOCAL transportation. Home every night and running within a 150 mile radius.
Main hauling is bulk Pnuematic trailer hauling dry material. PNE exp is a plus but willing to train the right person to operate these trailers.
Dump is also a big plus as we have some customers that require dump trailers.
Would like someone who is okay hauling Dump, Pneumatic, and some flatbed. Flatbed is mostly for internal hauling and NOT for hire.
Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting freight between various locations over long distances.
- Performing truck inspections before and after each trip to ensure that all mechanical systems are in good working order.
- Carefully planning routes to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
- Promptly reporting any traffic violations, road accidents, and vehicle breakdowns to management.
- Notifying the dispatcher and customer of any delay that may affect scheduled delivery times.
Driver Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proven experience working as a truck driver
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Clean Driving Record
- MUST have 2 years experience
