Position: Pharmacy Technician – Long-Term Care Pharmacy
We are currently seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician licensed in the State of Michigan with strong experience and working knowledge of Framework-LTC, ECM software, E-MAR systems, and long-term care pharmacy operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and organizational skills, demonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and intake of prescription orders accurately and efficiently
- Process, manage, and triage prescription orders appropriately
- Differentiate and prioritize cycle fills, daily orders, acute medications, and therapy changes
- Support customer service activities by answering questions and providing medication-related assistance
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards
- Exercise diligence and sound judgment in matters affecting facility relationships and patient care
- Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of assigned responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency within the pharmacy operation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing in the State of Michigan
- Prior experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting.
- Strong understanding of long-term care pharmacy workflow and operations
- Experience with Framework-LTC, ECM software, and Emar systems (Quick-mar, ECP, PCC)
- Familiarity with prescription data entry and order processing in an LTC environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
