Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health status in accordance with care plans
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a secure environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving or home health services preferred, especially with clients requiring complex care needs
- Knowledge of medical-surgical, geriatrics, post-acute care, outpatient clinics, or sub-acute care environments is highly valued
- Experience working in Level I Trauma Centers, Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or teaching hospitals is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently with explicit attention to safety protocols
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications upon hire

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
