Duties
- Operate manufacturing equipment with precision, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of machinery to optimize production efficiency.
- Support materials handling activities, including inventory management, packaging, and warehouse organization.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for moving raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility.
- Conduct quality checks and laboratory testing when necessary to ensure product specifications are met.
- Document production activities accurately, including batch records, inspection reports, and shift logs.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and participating in continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments, preferably with laboratory experience or familiarity with CGMP regulations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency.
- Ability to operate machinery such as CNC machines or other machining tools is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification and experience with materials handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of packaging processes and warehouse operations.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment or with laboratory testing is advantageous.
