Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements.
- Stay current with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to provide innovative services.
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, or skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
- Assist with retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and usage.
- Ensure all tools and workstations are clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license with certification in nail technology or related field.
- Strong knowledge of color theory for creating appealing nail designs.
- Experience with various nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic workspace.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, barbering, retail math for sales transactions, and skin care treatments is a plus.
