Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Restoration Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position where no restoration experience is required. We are willing to train the right individual who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn.
As a Restoration Technician, you will assist with emergency water, fire, mold, and environmental restoration projects throughout Northern Virginia. You will work alongside experienced team members, learn industry best practices, and gain valuable skills that can lead to advancement opportunities within our organization.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with a team, helping others, and being active throughout the day rather than sitting behind a desk.
Responsibilities
Assist with water, fire, smoke, mold, and environmental restoration projects
Set up drying equipment, containment systems, and jobsite protection
Perform demolition, cleaning, debris removal, and restoration-related tasks
Take direction from Lead Technicians and Project Managers
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials
Document job progress through photos and notes
Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes and businesses
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response services
Qualifications
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in physically demanding environments
Construction, labor, moving, warehouse, landscaping, military, or trade experience is helpful but not required
Valid driver's license preferred
Ability to lift equipment and work in varying jobsite conditions
