We seek a skilled Cafe Cook to join our team at Fresh Made Cafe.
As a Café Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and snacks according to our menu, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of taste, presentation, and consistency. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the café.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble paninis, wraps, smoothies, and salads according to recipes
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards at all times
- Keep kitchen area clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with prep work and restocking during slow periods
- Communicate clearly with team members and front of house staff
- Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
- Basic kitchen or food prep experience preferred (but we’re happy to train the right person)
- Ability to follow simple recipes and instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
