We are currently seeking to Hire a class A driver. Mon- Fri with some weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to the following):
· Check lights and safety equipment daily.
· Check for any scratches or dents.
· Check the back of the truck to assure cleanliness.
· Report any needed repairs or special maintenance to your supervisor immediately.
· Obey all traffic laws, including:
Driving within posted speed limits.
Stopping and looking for traffic at all stop signs.
No cell phone usage without law requiring devices.
No texting while driving or at a stop sign/light
Drive defensively
· Report any unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisor.
· Allow no riders who have not been approved by your supervisor.
· Observe OSHA, State, and Federal Safety Regulations.
· Follow all company and regulatory agency safety policies.
· Maintain a valid commercial driver’s license.
· Drive vehicles on scheduled routes to pick up and then deliver stock.
· Complete the correct documentation when booking goods in & out for delivery.
· Verifying the contents for delivery against delivery papers.
· Deliver a friendly and professional service to customers.
· Load and unload you vehicle were applicable.
· Responsible for the accuracy and safety of all loads carried.
· You must take your breaks and lunch as required by the law and company procedures.
· Flexible hours.
· When not driving help out in the warehouse wrapping pallets, cleaning etc.
* Occasionally you'll be sent to drop off waste to bone yards where smell could be sensitive to some.
Food Safety Production Areas:
· Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
· Perform all duties necessary to meet BRC, , and Government requirements.
· Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues.
