Full Time live-out Educator/Nanny/Family Assistant required for a loving SoHo family with 3 children (ages 4, 9 and 11 yrs old) starting ASAP.
You will be responsible for all child-related duties including interacting with their children in a stimulating, and age-appropriate way, with a primary focus on the older children. During the hours that the children are at school, you would support the family with broader coordination and execution of family management tasks (e.g., schedules, activities, groceries, organizing, etc.). The candidate should enjoy working alongside a supportive household team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be engaging, organized and capable of operating in a busy household. A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates with a teaching background are strongly preferred, especially special-needs educators (oldest child is neurodiverse/ADHD). The family values great communication skills and assertive, clear communicators. Preference for candidates who are comfortable driving.
The ideal person should have strong attention to detail, be reliable, show initiative, and have good instincts with daily tasks. Both parents travel for work occasionally, so a reliable and dependable individual is essential. Some travel during the summer and occasional overnights are expected (the family owns a home in CT). The family has a hypoallergenic Goldendoodle.
