American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital and outpatient clinical setting.

Work in a Nuclear Medicine department serving both acute care hospital and outpatient clinical locations

Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Saturday PET rotation from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
On-call rotation every 4th week, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

13-week contract
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine

Graduate of an AMA-approved formal radiologic technology training program in Nuclear Medicine
-
ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registration required, with current ODH licensure (license required if applicable)

BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

PET/CT experience or PET/CT advanced registry eligibility preferred

PET/CT advanced certification preferred

Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Operate nuclear medicine equipment and all related instrumentation, making appropriate imaging decisions for technique, positioning, and radiation protection

Administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of the supervising Radiologist with appropriate documentation, maintaining awareness of potential adverse reactions

Practice sterile technique and cross-contamination prevention

Maintain required records including proper labeling of images for interpretation

Rotates within the department and performs exams across acute care and outpatient locations
