Primary Function:

An Internal Sales and Proposal Coordinator drives revenue and supports the business development team by managing the end-to-end sales proposal process. They collaborate with internal teams to respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compliant bids that maximize win rates.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Coordination & Development
Manage the end-to-end RFP process from initial receipt to final submission, ensuring all strict client deadlines are met.
Organize and lead proposal kickoff meetings with technical and commercial teams to define requirements and assign tasks.
Review, edit, and format proposals to guarantee they reflect the client’s scope of work and the company's win strategy.
Ensure strict compliance with RFP/RFI guidelines and internal formatting standards before final submission.
Maintain and organize the content library, including boilerplate text, past project profiles, and standard proposal templates.
Internal Sales & Operations Support
Serve as the primary liaison between field sales, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and leadership.
Track sales pipelines, update customer data, and record bid outcomes in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Assist in drafting commercial documents, reviewing pricing sheets, and assembling pre-qualification packages.
Facilitate a smooth handover from the sales team to account management or project delivery upon contract award.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in proposal coordination, bid management, or inside sales within a relevant industry (e.g., construction, SaaS, engineering).
Writing & Editing: Excellent written communication with exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Technical Acumen: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Soft Skills: Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with proposal tools (e.g., GovEagle)
- APMP certification (or in progress)
- PMP certification (or pursuing)
- Familiarity with SAM.gov, FPDS, USASpending.gov, WAWF, and EDA
- Experience supporting DoD, federal, or IT services contracts
