Shephard's Beach Resort, on beautiful Clearwater Beach, is seeking an on call Banquet Server/Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during various events and banquets. You will work closely with the catering team to ensure that all food and beverage service runs smoothly while creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, including bussing tables and ensuring all areas are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service during events.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Break down banquet setups after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.

Requirements
- 2+ years' experience as a Banquet Server/Bartender.
- Willingness to work long hours/shifts.
- Food safety certification.
Physical requirements include but are not limited to: long hours on your feet walking/standing, pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds and carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, frequently reaching overhead, ability to carry large trays of food/plates/beverages, and ability to withstand exposure to outdoor elements and various climates and temperatures.
