FINAL MILE DELIVERY (HELPER):
TUESDAY- SATURDAY (Occasional Monday Route)
Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and maneuvering furniture and equipment safely at customer locations.
- Support with furniture installation, troubleshooting, and basic repairs using hand tools, power tools, and technical knowledge.
- Ensure all equipment is handled carefully to prevent damage during transit and setup.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients during delivery and setup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicle interior and delivery area.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly following all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- End of route trailer clearing is required. (Just a transfer of boxes and plastic to another trailer).
Experience
- Prior experience in delivery driving or field service roles is preferred but not needed, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance/furniture repair, equipment troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
