Job Title: GSRP Lead Teacher
Reports to: GSRP Supervisor

As a GSRP Lead Teacher you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the developmental needs of preschool-aged children while implementing the goals and standards of the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP).
Duties

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with GSRP standards

Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment

Monitor and assess student progress using approved assessment tools

Maintain accurate student records and documentation

Collaborate with support staff, administration, and families to support student success

Maintain compliance with all GSRP and licensing requirements

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent communication opportunities
Requirements:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required

License: Valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Early Childhood Education endorsement preferred
Qualifications:

A positive, flexible, and friendly attitude

Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
-
Knowledge of GSRP guidelines and early childhood best practices

Strong communication and collaboration skills
-
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
