American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift position in Bettendorf, IA, requiring an Iowa or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a Level 3 trauma center hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 basis
-
Required to work every other weekend
-
No on-call requirements
-
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
-
Uses Epic EMR system
-
Unit administers drips including heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amio
-
Active Iowa RN license or compact RN license required
-
Active Illinois RN license also required at time of offer
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all AHA)

Epic EMR experience required
-
One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within the last 2 years required
-
Driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
-
Skills checklist completed within 1 year required

Not eligible if employed by the facility's health system within the last 12 months

New grads accepted

At least 1 completed travel contract preferred

Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Provide care management for Med Surg/Telemetry patients

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate
-
Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
