Join our growing team at Flanagan Mills Insurance Agency in this client-facing role where you’ll provide customer service and support to our home, auto, and business insurance clients! We’re looking for someone who thrives in a customer service environment, enjoys problem-solving, takes initiative, and brings a calm and professional energy to the workplace. This is not a call center position.
What You'll Do:
- Be the first point of contact (answer phones, greet clients, and assist with inquiries)
- Build strong relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Provide information on home, auto, and business insurance products
- Handle client concerns with patience and empathy, offering solutions and following up to ensure resolution
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with claims, policy changes, and other customer service-related tasks
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be able to work onsite in our Rochester, NY office
- 1 year of client advocacy/client service experience required
- P&C insurance license (preferred)
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and computer savvy
- Patient, empathetic, and solution-driven
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in all interactions
