Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Subway Manager to oversee daily operations at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining a smooth and efficient restaurant environment. The Subway Manager will play a key role in upholding the brand’s reputation for quality and service excellence. In addition to the base pay there is potential for monthly bonuses based on store operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales tracking.
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food production to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Monitor shift performance, address customer concerns promptly, and ensure excellent customer service experiences.
- Conduct interviews, hire new team members, and participate in staff training programs.
- Implement operational policies related to hospitality management, kitchen management, and food service procedures.
- Assist in budgeting, sales analysis, and operational planning to meet business goals.
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes.
- Ability to train staff effectively and manage shift operations efficiently.
- Previous experience in hotel or catering environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop team members.
- A background in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred; experience in barista or coffee service is advantageous but not required. Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
