Your Role:
As a Treatment Coordinator, you'll be the first smiling face our patients see and the reassuring voice they hear when they reach out to us. Your role is essential in ensuring every patient feels valued, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey.
What You'll Do:
- Welcome patients with a friendly smile and genuine warmth, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere from the moment they step through our doors.
- Coordinate appointments with efficiency and care, ensuring our patients receive timely and convenient scheduling that meets their needs.
- Verify and collect insurance information accurately, helping patients navigate their coverage and financial options with confidence.
- Provide essential administrative support to our dental team, keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and empathy, addressing concerns and answering questions to the best of your ability.
- Collaborate closely with our team to coordinate treatment plans and schedule appointments with specialists as needed, ensuring our patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
Experience Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a dental or medical office is preferred, but not required – we're more interested in your positive attitude and willingness to learn!
- Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc., is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental/orthodontic terminology and procedures is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must – we're looking for someone who can build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
- Comfortability in sales is preferred
Note: Additional experience with medical/dental/orthodontic receptionist duties or knowledge is a plus.
