The Appliance Repair Foreman leads a large team of over eight technicians, specializing in the maintenance and repair of commercial appliances. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role encompasses coordinating repair activities, ensuring quality control, and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. The foreman also provides technical support, oversees inventory, and manages training for team members, with additional focus on medical device and small motor repair.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of 8+ technicians
- Coordinate repair schedules and workflow for commercial appliance maintenance
- Ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and issues
- Train and mentor technicians in repair techniques and safety protocols
- Oversee inventory management for parts and tools
- Provide technical support and problem diagnosis for complex repairs
- Disassemble and reassemble devices with precision and care
- Enforce safety compliance throughout the repair process
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in appliance repair
- Technical certification in appliance repair or related field
- Expertise in appliance repair, electrical systems, and troubleshooting
- Proven team leadership and customer service skills
- Strong time management and inventory oversight abilities
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
