Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler (1-3 years of age) Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a commitment to educating and caring for young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities and effective classroom management.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate children in various subjects, including language, math, science, and art, using hands-on activities and play-based learning techniques.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Provide care for infants when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Observe and assess each child's development, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.
- Support children with disabilities or special education needs by implementing tailored strategies to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.
Physical Demands
- Often required to stand and sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat or crawl.
- May require lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.
