Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Answer client questions, resolve policy issues, and update account information.
- Sales Growth: Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within your book of business.
- Lead Generation: Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking and referrals.
- Policy Reviews: Conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure clients have the right coverage for their needs.
- Licensing Compliance: Complete required pre-licensing coursework and pass the state exam within the 90-day window. [1]
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Ability to obtain a state insurance license (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health) within 30–90 days.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive to build a business.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience: Comfortable handling rejection and making cold outreach.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and navigate CRM software and insurance rating systems.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard state licensing background check.
