Job Summary:
We are seeking someone who is passionate about sales and customer service and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. As a Community Leasing Specialist, you’ll take the lead in driving leasing efforts at one or more of our apartment communities. This role is all about creating a great first impression—responding to inquiries, conducting tours, processing applications, and helping new residents feel at home from day one.
This role is perfect for someone who is motivated by results and eager to grow. You’ll use your sales mindset and customer service skills to meet leasing goals, support community success, and continually build your expertise in marketing, operations, and resident relations. About the Communities
This position will be based primarily at Oaks of Lakeville, with support provided to nearby sister property Lakeside Flats as needed. Oaks of Lakeville offers spacious, modernized apartment homes in a quiet setting near historic downtown Lakeville, while Lakeside Flats provides modern apartment living along Lee Lake with scenic views, walking trails, and a variety of amenities. Both communities offer distinct living experiences and a great opportunity to help prospective residents find the right home in Lakeville.

Key Responsibilities:
· Leasing & Sales: Manage the leasing process from inquiry to move-in, including responding to leads, conducting property tours, processing/screening applications, and finalizing lease agreements.
· Resident Relations: Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
· Marketing & Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents, including online listings, social media promotion, and hosting open houses or events.
· Lease Administration: Maintain accurate records of leases, renewals, and resident information in the property management software.
· Move-In/Move-Out Coordination: Facilitate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and new residents are welcomed effectively.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the Community Business Manager and maintenance team to ensure seamless operations and a positive resident experience.
· Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and fair housing laws.
· Support: Other duties as assigned by Community Business Manager
Job Requirements:
· High School Diploma and Associate’s Degree (required), Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
· Prior experience in sales, hospitality, event, and bar/restaurant industries (preferred)
· Proficiency with phone systems, Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams), and design software (preferred)
· Willing to work evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours on a rotating basis
· Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
Physical Demands:
· Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
· Strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds.
· Vision to read printed material and a computer screen.
· Hearing and speech to communicate in-person and over the telephone.
· Must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property/buildings as required to meet the job functions, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways, common areas and site.
