Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead and motivate warehouse team members, providing clear instructions and managerial communication to foster teamwork and productivity.
- Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory management systems and conduct regular cycle counts for inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce proper use of safety equipment during heavy lifting and warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize distribution center operations, shipping & receiving schedules, and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution center management, or similar roles with a focus on warehouse supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate clearly at all levels.
- Familiarity with logistics processes including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and materials handling procedures.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring stamina in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.

Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
