American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 34-bed Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

34-bed Emergency Department serving patients of all ages and diagnoses
-
Level 3 semi/stroke receiving center with no trauma designation
-
Patient ratio of 4:1
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with start times between 1800–1830
-
Every other weekend rotation required
-
No on-call requirement
-
Active CA RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required

Epic EMR experience required
-
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Responsibilities include assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care

Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
