The newest Joint Commission accredited surgery center in Orange County is seeking a talented, experienced, happy and motivated nurse with an exceptional personality to join our team. We offer a broad menu of services including Spine; Orthopedics, Laparoscopic, Vascular, and Pain Management.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our surgical center as the lead nurse / nurse manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in these highly specialized fields.
Applicant must have minimum of 5 years of experience, having passed an accreditation survey with a facility, and is aware of accreditation standards, and be ready to pass a competency test.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education
- Assist the surgical team during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with post-operative care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Valid RN license, or NP license
- Previous experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Familiarity with compliance needs of a healthcare facility.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to occasionally travel between LA and OC for assignments as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
