Omni Mold & Die is a machine shop located in Winston-Salem, NC. We focus on repairing &
producing tools and parts for a variety of manufacturers in and around North Carolina.
What you will be doing
Our Delivery & Maintenance Associate performs several important functions at Omni, including
job pickups & deliveries, vehicles & facilities routine maintenance, and janitorial upkeep.
You will be responsible for…
- Driving to pick up new jobs and delivering finished jobs when they are ready
- Communicating with customers & vendors to coordinate pickup & delivery locations
- Cleaning the shop floor, restrooms, & offices on a weekly basis
- Keeping track of & taking in our vans, trucks, & fork lifts for routine maintenance
- Performing one-off maintenance projects around the shop as needed
- Arriving to work on time & occasionally coming in early or staying late if needed
- Packaging finished jobs & operating the fork trucks to load heavier tools for delivery
- Coordinating delivery schedule with General Manager & Shop Foremen on a daily basis
What we need from you
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week with opportunity for overtime)
- Ability to work in Winston-Salem, NC
- Willingness to be flexible if early start time or late end time is needed for a delivery
What skills & experience you will bring to us
- This is an entry-level position (manufacturing or delivery experience is not necessary)
- Hard work, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential to do this job well
