In Shop Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and aftertreatment systems.
- Air-Brake System Repair and Maintenance
- Electrical Repairs including lighting and charging issues.
- No-starts or SEL
- Use of diagnostic Programs such as Insite, DiagnosticLink, TechTool, JPRO, etc
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections on vehicles and equipment
- Repair on some transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and suspension systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to clients.
- Repair and Maintenance on different types of specialized equipment
Qualifications
- Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
- Previous Experience of 2+ years with Class 8 or similar trucks and chassis.
