Job Title: Flatbed OTR Class A Truck Driver
Location: Based near Chicago, IL (nationwide routes)
About the Job
We are looking for reliable and experienced Flatbed OTR Class A Truck Drivers to join our team. This is an over-the-road position hauling flatbed trailers across regional and nationwide routes. Drivers must be safety-focused, hardworking, and ready to hit the road.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers with flatbed equipment
- Secure, tarp, and transport loads according to DOT regulations and company standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork as required by FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years)
- Ability to secure and tarp flatbed loads
- Willingness to be on the road for extended periods (OTR)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
