About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Data Analyst to optimize the profitability of our inventory assets. Reporting directly to our Lead Data Analyst, you will play a central role in conducting statistical, qualitative, and quantitative data analysis across multiple departments.
This unique position combines core financial and sales data modeling with active, daily operational market participation. If you have strong foundational accounting knowledge, a knack for spotting hidden business trends in large datasets, and excellent cross-team communication skills, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Data Modeling & Projections: Develop analytical models of sales and performance metrics data to assist in strategic business projections.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with teams across applications and departments to gather, audit, and analyze financial results.
- Identify Profitable Opportunities: Evaluate historical reports and adjust internal analytical models based on previous analysis to uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Daily Operational Procurement: Utilize data insights to identify high-potential live events and actively manage the daily online purchasing of event tickets.
- Record Management & Compliance: Maintain clean, precise electronic files and records of all analytical models and daily operations.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional office experience handling data or analytics (2–5 years strongly preferred).
- Technical Stack: * Advanced Excel reporting capabilities (Required).
- Strong working knowledge of programming languages: SQL (Required).
- Experience with Statistical Software is a plus.
- Core Business Knowledge: A strong understanding of standard accounting principles and financial data trends.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (heavy phone and email communication with internal stakeholders), exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical & Special Requirements
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Predominantly sedentary work in an office setting.
- Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
