Position Summary
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the integrated planning and execution of material, inventory, and product flow. This role serves as the primary link between Commercial and Manufacturing Operations, ensuring customer demand is translated into executable supply plans while optimizing inventory, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Supply Chain is responsible for developing an integrated planning process that aligns Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Distribution into a single enterprise operating model.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the company's integrated Supply Chain organization, ensuring alignment between Commercial, Manufacturing Operations, and Finance.
- Own the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and facilitate cross-functional planning activities.
- Develop and manage demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and procurement processes across all brands and sales channels.
- Lead procurement activities for raw materials, packaging, and purchased goods while maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring material availability.
- Manage the Distribution Center, customer order fulfillment, inventory control, logistics, and transportation operations.
- Develop inventory strategies that balance customer service, working capital, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Partner with Manufacturing Operations to develop production plans that optimize capacity, labor utilization, and customer service.
- Establish key supply chain metrics and reporting systems to improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, supplier reliability, and customer fulfillment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, inventory optimization, ERP utilization, and supply chain performance.
- Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and enterprise thinking across all supply chain functions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), food manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading integrated planning processes including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Procurement, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, distribution, logistics, and customer fulfillment.
- Experience managing ERP systems, planning software, and supply chain analytics.
- Proven ability to optimize inventory, improve customer service levels, and reduce total supply chain costs while supporting business growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, and Executive teams.
- Experience leading organizational change, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent professional certification is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual is a plus
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
