Sutter Metals, LLC is a family-owned metal scrap recycling company with locations in Tacoma, Lacey and Centralia, WA with room for growth at all levels. We are looking for a skilled Class A CDL driving professional to join our fast-paced scrap metal team.
Position Details:
- Monday-Friday, roughly 7am - 4pm. (Some Saturdays available but not required). Overtime available.
- Safely transport scrap metals to vendor locations in timely, safe and courteous manner.
- Interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Conduct mandatory pre-trip inspection and maintain reports.
- Follow delivery instructions from Manager/Dispatcher.
- Holding and grasping for loading, unloading, chaining, netting, as needed.
- Some lifting up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Washington Commercial Class A Driver's License.
- Pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Minimum two years of experience in commercial driving preferred but not required.
- Aged 25 or above.
- Must have a driving record in Good Standing. To be in Good Standing, driver must present a current DMV report with none of the following violations: DWI, homicide, reckless driving, drugs, leaving the scene WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS.
- Stay committed to company safety protocols and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Acceptable DOT drug test history
- OSHA familiarity/training
