We are seeking a Stress Monitor / Paramedic to join our diagnostic team in The Villages, FL. This role focuses on monitoring patients during cardiac stress testing, ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and providing clinical support to physicians and technologists in our cardiology practice.
Monitor patients during cardiac stress tests (treadmill, pharmacologic stress, and other modalities).
Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias, abnormal vital signs, and patient distress.
Accurately record and report EKG changes, blood pressure, and patient symptoms throughout testing.
Provide emergency response and life support if necessary.
Assist with preparation, explanation, and education of patients undergoing testing.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and diagnostic technologists as part of the patient care team.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with practice and regulatory standards.
Current Florida Paramedic license required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
Previous experience in cardiology, cardiac monitoring, or stress testing preferred.
Strong EKG interpretation skills.
Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork abilities.
