In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining attractive product displays, ensuring shelves are stocked with fresh merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service at the checkout counter. Help with deliveries, stocking, scanning in inventory. Your proactive approach will help drive sales, promote products through demos and upselling, and foster a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure attractive, accessible displays that maximize sales potential
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process retail sales transactions efficiently and securely
- Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling activities to promote featured items and increase store revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including merchandising displays and stock areas
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers using strong phone etiquette and clear communication skills
- Assist in inventory management by stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Support the team in supervising new or less experienced staff members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment
- Ensure compliance with store policies, safety procedures, and health regulations at all times
