As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments of animals.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, providing recommendations for grooming treatments as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper animal handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and any concerns observed during grooming.
- Provide excellent customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or animal handling is preferred.
- Strong skills in pet care, animal restraint, dog training, and customer service.
- Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and cats with different temperaments safely.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively.
