Experienced Human Resource Generalist

We are in search of a part-time experienced Human Resource Generalist that fits our company culture to assist the company's Human Resource Manager with responsibilities!
Summary of Position:
The Human Resource Generalist will work closely with the company’s HR Manager assisting in basic HR functions such as: recruiting and talent acquisition, onboarding new part-time associates, associate engagement, and administrative tasks that help support the HR Manager. Our ideal candidate is a professional with education and/or experience in the Human Resource field, experience in retail-based Human Resources being a plus. The position is part-time, 20-25 hours a week. Due to the retail environment, the hours are very flexible! Weekend availability is essential. Ability to uphold company philosophy standards, professionalism and confidentiality is an absolute must.
Competencies and Qualifications:
· Prior Human Resource certification/degree or 1+ years of Human Resource experience
· Interviewing experience
· Strong grammar skills
· Professional communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva or similar programs
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
· Ability to take initiative and work independently
· Strong problem solving skills
· Knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment laws
