Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using Toast POS systems
- Prepare and assemble food items according to safety standards and quality guidelines, including basic food preparation tasks.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food service operations.
- Manage customer transactions by processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash register operations with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction through friendly suggestions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including counters, utensils, and equipment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring food handling procedures are followed diligently.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred but willing to train new applicants.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Proven ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently in retail or food service settings.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations within the food industry or grocery stores is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
