Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall blending of products from specific work orders and the document trail that accompanies process.
- Must follow blending instructions and chemical blend with precision.
- Responsible for accurately blending or mixing various chemical formulations to produce quality finished goods that meet customer specifications.
- Attention to detail when mixing quantity amounts of chemical and confirming changes in writing on work orders should adjustmentsneed to be made.
- Be familiar with all products in storage tanks and their specific hazards.
- Works closely with supervisors in assuring the proper tanks are connected to the packaging stations and to notify operators when levels are getting low.
- Responsible for product staging, production and packaging.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of both batch and warehouse area.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing loads of product with forklift in a safe manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience with liquid blending.
- Valid Hazwoper certification preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand metric amounts such as gallons, quarts, etc.
- Previous experience working with forklifts.
