Echo Technician
Position Summary
Pulse Physician Organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic studies, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting physicians in obtaining accurate diagnostic information to support exceptional patient care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the testing process to ensure patient comfort.
- Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements of cardiac structures and function.
- Recognize and document abnormal findings for physician review.
- Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper documentation and accurate maintenance of patient records.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Cardiac Echo Technology Certification required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Experience performing adult echocardiograms preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed.
