Job Title: Production Support Specialist
Job Summary:
Assist in various operations of production
Responsibilities:
To maintain the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Resource for all production departments to ensure continuous flow of production process
- Train and execute all standard work
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment
- Monitor the production process and provide feedback for potential improvements
- Carry out quality and testing checks to ensure quality levels are maintained
- Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected
- Load, feed and unload items from machines or conveyors
- Pack and store materials/products
- Start/Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available to begin production processes
- Properly handle and dispose of all waste that are generated in the daily operations as directed by the EHS Manager
Qualifications:
- Communicates effectively both written and verbally
- Team oriented and self-directed
- Basic blueprint comprehension
- Committed to quality and safety
- Intermediate math skills
Education/Experience:
· High School diploma, GED
· Entry level position requiring no previous experience
Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Able to stand for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
