We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team!
Core skills needed:
- IP networking (ports, DHCP, VLAN basics)
- NVR/DVR troubleshooting
- Camera config (ONVIF, RTSP, etc.)
- Access control basics (readers, controllers)
- Bonus: SIP/audio systems
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support via phone/email/remote desktop to national distributors, licensed installers, IT staff and end users.
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, or electronically
- Test and verify functionality of Audio & CCTV Security equipment; support PC,MAC software and mobile applications.
- Track customer issues and resolutions within HubSpot ticketing system
- Provide assistance with computer software and hardware configuration, networking, security and network implementation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED; Associates preferred or a Certification or Degree in Electronics (Engineering, Design and/or Research and Development) or Computer Sciences (Computer Hardware, Software, Networking and/or Programming) from a trade school or college
- Ability to speak and write clearly in English
- Knowledge of relevant products and networking
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

- 8 hour shift (830a-530p or 10a-7p on a rotating basis)
- Monday - Friday
