Description: Responsible for assisting manager in the oversight of operations of a single practice or support service in compliance with St. Luke’s Medical Group policies and standards. Responsibilities include daily onsite supervision of office functions. Assists in the development and implementation of processes to maximize operational efficiencies and patient satisfaction. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
Principle Accountabilities:

Clinical operations – Assists manager with daily oversight of the practice or support service to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Ensures that necessary staff, supplies, and equipment are available to meet practice/service needs. Recommends and implements improvements. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies. Attends required meetings and keeps supervisor informed of any issues.

Human resources management – Responsible for ensuring sufficient daily staff coverage for areas of responsibility. May be assigned to assist manager in timely and accurate entry of employee payroll information.

Financial management – May be assigned to assist manager with any of the following job duties – development of annual operational budgets, daily reconciliation of charges and payments, bank deposits, billing work queues, and coding of invoices.

Patient experience – Assists manager in patient concerns by assisting with comprehensive review and follow-up. Recommends ideas for improvement.

Quality goals – Participates in activities to improve quality scores and meet quality goals.

Performs other work duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: Employee is required to sit frequently and stand and walk occasionally. Employee must lift/carry light loads (20 pounds maximum) occasionally. Employee is required to bend, squat, and lift floor to waist occasionally; reach forward and overhead frequently and to sit continuously. For repetitive action, employee is required to use one hand for simple grasping, pushing/pulling and both hands for fine manipulation. Employee is continuously exposed to electrical hazards and CRT terminal work.
