We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead our commercial tenant improvement and finish-out projects. While we handle small ground-up and residential work, our core business is high-end commercial spaces. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in occupied buildings, maintaining a high level of situational awareness, and ensuring our presence is as non-disruptive as possible. As the primary point of contact on the job site, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are performed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with the NEC and project specifications.
The ideal candidate will excel at managing labor productivity, material flow, and client relationships. You will be the face of our company in professional environments, managing projects that require precision, cleanliness, and exceptional communication.
Key Responsibilities
● Crew Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate daily tasks for a team of Journeymen and Apprentices. Conduct daily progress and safety huddles.
● Project Execution: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to lay out work and ensure accurate installation of conduit, wiring, and switchgear.
● Site Management: Coordinate with General Contractors (GCs) and other trades to avoid scheduling conflicts. Ensure the job site remains organized and professional.
● Administrative Oversight: Maintain accurate daily logs, track crew hours, and manage material orders/deliveries to prevent project delays.
● Quality & Safety: Enforce a safety-minded site culture. Perform regular QA/QC inspections to minimize rework and ensure 100% code compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
● Licensing: Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required). A Master License is a plus.
● Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
● Certifications: Current OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
● Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and proficiency in reading complex construction drawings.
● Soft Skills: Strong communication skills are a must. English required; Spanish bilingual is a major plus. Experience in professional, white-collar environments is highly desirable.
● Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work from ladders/lifts, and stand for extended periods.
