Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Intern to join our LTC pharmacy team. This role provides hands-on experience in long-term care pharmacy operations, medication management, and clinical services.

- Foreign pharmacy graduates with FPGEC certification
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing, labeling, and preparing medications
- Support cycle fill and daily dispensing operations
- Review medication orders for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with nurses, caregivers, and healthcare providers
- Help manage medication packaging (bubble packs / compliance packaging)
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Participate in medication reconciliation and clinical support activities
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a PharmD program OR
- Foreign pharmacy graduate with active Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee Certification (FPGEC) certification
- Active Pharmacy Intern License (or eligible to obtain in Arizona)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Interest in long-term care pharmacy
- Experience with pharmacy systems
