About Us
At Atidaynu – Our Future School, we empower children with autism by helping them build communication, academic, and life skills in a supportive elementary school environment. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and individualized instruction, we ensure each student reaches their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach reading instruction in small-group and classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and BCBAs to integrate reading supports into the school day.
- Collect data, monitor progress, and adapt instruction as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, structured classroom environment aligned with ABA practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Literacy (required).
- Training or experience in evidence-based literacy programs such as the Wilson Reading System, Orton–Gillingham Approach, Fountas & Pinnell Literacy, Visualizing and Verbalizing, or Sounds in Motion.
- Experience teaching children with special needs, especially autism, strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of ABA methodologies and comfort working in a data-driven environment.
School Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
- Optional after-school program until 5:00 PM and summer program.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
