Responsibilities
- Greet customers, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Clearly explain recommended services, repairs, and estimates, ensuring customers understand their options.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize service work and communicate timelines effectively.
- Prepare detailed auto estimates using service writing software, including parts, labor, and additional recommendations such as oil changes or tire services.
- Manage vehicle repair orders from start to finish, ensuring all work is documented accurately and completed efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining precise records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and following up post-service to ensure satisfaction.
- Requirements
- Professional experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics.
- Versed in automotive repair services including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts, suspension systems, tire service, air brake systems is advantageous.
- Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing processes to produce accurate quotes quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with strong communication skills will enable you to connect effectively with both customers and technicians.
